New Milford Students Teach Tech To Seniors

NEW MILFORD, N.J. — Students from the New Milford High School Community Service Club participated in an "Inter-generational Technology Day" with seniors at the New Milford Senior Center.

Friday's program was aimed at educating seniors on the different avenues of technology that are available to them today.

Students trained seniors on how to use social media, tablets, Google docs, and an introduction to online mind games and activities. The seniors were also engaged with the high school’s 3-D printer demonstration along with the media center’s maker’s space.

The students that participated included Justin Bartus, Spencer Lee, Aneesa Ahmed, Nicole Garcia, Justine Ricciardelli, Sabin Manandhar, Kassidy Barone, Kaitlin Kaupas, Alyssa Jasuale, Melissa Nieto, Jasmine Viviani, Helen Chen, Justice Witowski and Anthony Pizarro.
